RaceHUB boasts a large number of features that no other program on the market can put forward. Below is a small selection of what we believe are some of the key features which set RaceHUB apart from other electronic and manual options.
As we are constantly developing new features and updating RaceHUB’s existing features, there are frankly just too many to list them all. To see what we working on next, view our roadmap for the future.
Automatic timing with auto-pitting
Lap times are automatically tracked, allowing you to view and analyse all the telemetry data from each lap (inc. average speed, time, splits, rider time, and more). Pit stops are autonomously detected, changing to the next rider in your roster. If you have a pit stop without a rider change, you can specify this in the application.
Instant two-way messaging between team managers and the trike
Team managers can send messages to riders instantly from anywhere, which are displayed in the trike. Riders can send audio messages or use customisable buttons. To view the many uses of this see the Vector testimonial.
“I’ll come in this lap”
“I can’t see out the left”
Automatically updating race rosters
Rosters with rider order, duration and start/end time can be made. These can be easily displayed on screens in your pits and are viewable on individual riders’/parents’ phones. Changes automatically appear on all devices meaning no one is left unsure.
Complex data analysis and graphs made simple
In an age of marginal gains and races won by less than a lap, racing by feel is no longer an option.
RaceHUB allows you to make informed race decisions from the data collected during races through graphs and Pedal Prix specific metrics.
Live tracking of trikes
Each of your trike’s locations is displayed in real-time in RaceHUB, allowing you to anticipate pit stops, see when the trike is coming past, and quickly dispatch help in the unfortunate event of a crash.
Riders, parents, and friends can all be informed
Team managers can choose to share passwords to access a read-only version of their team’s RaceHUB with anyone they wish, allowing riders to view their laps, parents to see when their children are riding, and friends to watch on from home.
Use RaceHUB from anywhere, not just the pits
Running in the cloud, all features can be used from anywhere in the world, giving you more freedom no longer being constrained to viewing data in the pits. Parents and friends can also follow your team’s race from their homes.
A unique use is coaching new riders on cornering during races, whilst observing from the corner. Feedback collected from first time Murray Bridge riders showed they found this increased their confidence and ability to corner quickly and safely.
Since RaceHUB is cloud-based, it continues to work even if no device is running RaceHUB. During the 2017 Murray Bridge race when it was incredibly windy and dusty, the laptops running our spreadsheets broke due to the ingress of sand and we lost everything – this can not occur with RaceHUB.
Autonomous crash alerts
Crash alerts appear on in RaceHUB showing the location of the trike on the map. Accelerometric, gyroscopic, and speed data are used to intelligently detect crashes.
